Tangerine's Black Friday deals include a year-long discount on NBN plans

Much like Prime Day, Black Friday is no longer confined to a single 24-hour period, with many deals now available for a good chunk of November. Even telcos have been getting in on Black Friday in recent years, and Tangerine is getting in early with discounts across its entire range of NBN plans.

No matter which Tangerine NBN plan you pick, you'll get a $20 per month discount for your first 12 months. The year-long discount is notable, as most introductory offers tend to only last for six months. The discount is available across its standard plans - including new speed tiers like NBN 500 and NBN 2000 - as well as its Fixed Wireless plans:

Here are Tangerine's fixed-line NBN plans:

While there are plans with cheaper initial discounts, the fact Tangerine's discount lasts a whole year makes its plans cheaper in the long run for NBN 50, NBN 100, and NBN 500 speed tiers. Even with its deals, there are cheaper options for NBN 1000 and NBN 2000.

Tangerine is also doing a 50% discount on its 5G mobile plans. This discount is applied for the first six months, after which customers will pay full price. Here are Tangerine's eligible mobile plans:

Tangerine's Black Friday deals are available until December 1.
