As we say goodbye (and good riddance) to 2020, you get a general feeling of optimism about the year ahead of us. The prospect of everything returning to normal, and maybe even the chance to travel overseas again.
To get ready, you might want to think about your regular monthly bills and whether there is any fat you can trim to kick off 2021 in the right direction. We’ve come across a smart way to get your phone bill down to a measly $60 for the first 6 months of the year, without giving up all of the data and features you need.
Gomo is a new telco with a simple message. It offers a single subscription option with 18GB of data for $25 per month. You get unlimited calls and messages to standard numbers in Australia, unlimited calls to standard numbers in 15 selected overseas destinations and data rollover for up to 200GB while you maintain an active subscription. A solid deal in anyone’s books.
But here’s the thing: Gomo currently has two promos running. New customers who buy their SIM online before January 10 2021 will get their first month for just $10. If you activate your service before 28 February 2021 and then pay the standard $25 monthly fee for the next two months you will then get another 3 months free. All up, that’s 6 months of Gomo phone service for just $60.
To put this into perspective, that works out to be at least half the price of other similar plans in the market, as you can see in the table below.
It’s also worth noting that only one of the plans in this list includes international calling, and only one other has a 200GB data bank.
Remember you only have a limited time to take advantage of this phone plan hack, so head over to the Gomo site to buy your SIM online and activate your service in the Gomo app.
