Vodafone is offering double the data on its postpaid mobile plans after it more than doubled the size of its network at the end of last month.
The telco is also taking $10 off monthly plan fees for the first 12 months. As an example, this means Vodafone's Small SIM-only plan which usually comes with 50GB of data for $49 per month ongoing is currently available with 100GB for the price of $39 per month (for 12 months), then $49 per month ongoing.

While the plan discount ends after 12 months you'll keep the double data so long as you continuously remain connected to your plan. The double data offer is forfeited if you change, cancel or upgrade your plan.
The offer is also available if you choose to pair your plan with a new handset from Vodafone. If you pair it with a handset you'll get the $10 off per month discount for the length of the device repayment term if its 24 or 36 months.

Vodafone's network now reaches 98.4% of the Australian population, just behind Optus' coverage which reaches 98.5%. This makes Vodafone much more competitive these days, especially in regional parts of Australia where you'll benefit from the increased coverage.
The telco is also offering student deals to those with a valid student ID. These are Vodafone's standard SIM-only plans and also come with $10 off per month for the first 12 months. But these student offers come with more than double the data:
- Vodafone Small SIM-only plan, with 200GB of data (50GB + 150GB of bonus data) for $39 for the first 12 months, $49 per month ongoing
- Vodafone Medium SIM-only plan, with 400GB of data (180GB + 220GB of bonus data) for $49 for the first 12 months, $59 per month ongoing
- Vodafone Large SIM-only plan, with 800GB of data (360GB + 440GB of bonus data) for $59 for the first 12 months, $69 per month ongoing
These plans can also be paired with a handset from Vodafone over a 12-, 24- or 36-month repayment term.
