Good deal: iPhone SE for $449 on Telstra Prepaid

Want to save $230 on an iPhone? If you're happy to saddle up with Telstra Prepaid, you can get a brand 32GB Space Grey iPhone SE for $449, down from its regular price of $679. You'll even get a bonus $30 prepaid starter SIM, which gives you 3GB of data, $700 of talk, and unlimited text on a 28-day expiry. 

Since the phone is being sold as a prepaid device, it's locked to Telstra's network, which means you won't be able to take it to another provider without forking out a bit of extra cash. If you want to unlock your shiny new iPhone SE within the first six months, you're looking at an $80 fee. If you're happy to wait, the fee gets cut to $25 after six months. After two years, you'll be able to unlock the phone for free.

Even if you want to unlock the iPhone SE straight away, you're still a saving $150 compared to the retail price.
