iPhone 13

As is custom whenever Apple announces a new iPhone, some old models get cheaper, while others make their way to the Big iCloud in the sky. This time around, Apple has made permanent price cuts to the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, and iPhone 13.

The iPhone 14 now starts at $1,299, making it $100 cheaper than it used to be, while the iPhone 14 Plus is $70 cheaper at $1,499. The iPhone 13 received the biggest discount of the lot, now starting at $1,099, which works out to be a $130 saving. An older iPhone could be especially appealing given every iPhone 15 model is more expensive than its predecessor.

Here's full pricing for the discounted models:

  • iPhone 14 128GB: $1,299
  • iPhone 14 256GB: $1,499
  • iPhone 14 512GB: $1,849
  • iPhone 14 Plus 128GB: $1,499
  • iPhone 14 Plus 256GB: $1,699
  • iPhone 14 Plus 512GB: $2,049
  • iPhone 13 128GB: $1,099
  • iPhone 13 256GB: $1,299
  • iPhone 13 512GB: $1,649

Apple is already charging the new prices for its old iPhones, and we'd expect to see this rolled out to other retailers and telcos offering the phones on a plan in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 13 mini, and iPhone 11 have all been discontinued. While these phones haven't received official price cuts, we'd expect to see stock discounted as retailers sell the last of it. And of course, you'll still be able to find them on the refurbished market for the years to come.
