As part of its Mobile World Congress keynote, Samsung confirmed that it will official announce the next Galaxy smartphone - presumably the Galaxy S8 family - on March 29 during an Unpacked event in New York.

Rumours and leaks suggest that Samsung will be launching two phones - the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus - measuring in at 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch respectively. Despite the larger displays, the S8 and S8 Plus look like they'll be almost bezel-less, and as such, should be similar in size to the S7 and S7 Edge, respectively.

The event will take place at 1am EDT in New York on March 29. Samsung will also be live streaming the presentation.
