If you're looking to change telco, Optus has a new offer that's very easy to say "yes" to. "Hell yes," even.
$30 per month will get you 15GB of data, unlimited talk and text, 300 international minutes, and a 12-month subscription to Optus Sport (with Premier League access). You'll need to sign a 12-month contract to get the plan, and since it's a SIM only deal, you'll need to bring your own phone.
Even on data inclusions alone, Optus' promo beats the entire competition when it comes to data-for-dollar. The next best offer around right now is Jeenee Mobile's $30 Pennywise plan, which gives you 10GB per month when you sign a 12-month contract.
If you don't need quite as much data, Optus will do 3GB for $18.75 per month. This plan is also on a 12-month contract, and still comes with a 12-month Optus Sport subscription. Once again, no other plans come close to offering this kind of value at a sub $20 price-point.
While both Optus plans are being sold as 12-month contracts, the discounted rate will apply for two years. After two years are up, you'll pay $40 per month for the 3GB plan, and $55 per month for the 15GB plan. Of course, you can always change whenever you want after your first year is over.
These Optus promotions run until 11.59pm on September 27, so you'll need to get in quick. The offer is only available to new customers.
